St. Joseph's Retirement Community
St. Joseph's Retirement Community is a licensed assisted living community. Our exceptional mixture of supportive services combined with a warm, homelike setting promotes maximum independence and well being. At St. Joseph's, we know that with a little help many seniors can maintain an independent and enjoyable lifestyle. We provide weekly housekeeping and laundry services, as well as three meals every day. Our staff can also help with medications, personal grooming, as well as many other personal services.
St. Joseph's Retirement Community is nestled in the center of West Point, Nebraska. Our handy central location puts St. Joseph's within walking distance of the library, West Point's downtown Main Street and several churches. We are also located a few blocks from three grade schools and 
one high school which makes it easy for the students to visit our residents several times during the school year.
St. Joseph's offers 63 private apartments in four comfortable styles. Residents bring their own furniture and decorate their apartments with their own treasures. Each apartment is equipped with a Lifeline Emergency Call System for safety and peace of mind.
In addition to private apartments, St. Joseph's provides many attractive common areas designed to promote an active and entertaining lifestyle. Residents can:
- Enjoy a cup of coffee in our Country Kitchen Activity Room.
- Admire the aviary in our beautiful Main Lobby.
- Delight in the lovely fireplace lobbies on each floor.

- The Chapel where daily Mass is celebrated and mid-week Protestant Services are conducted.
- Our old-fashioned "Mainstreet" which features an ice cream shop, billiards room, and beauty salon.
- Exercise room equipped with two Nu-Step machines.
When you choose St. Joseph's, you don't have to worry about a long-term lease or costly buy-in fees. We rent on a month-to-month basis and there are no deposits. Also, St. Joseph's Retirement Community is Medicaid Waiver Certified in keeping with our mission of providing affordable housing and services for all, regardless of financial status.
