Business Health and Wellness:
Business Health and Wellness provides customized health and safety services and education to meet the needs of area employers. Services include post-offer job physicals, DOT and non-DOT drug and alcohol testing, respiratory testing and on-site nursing services. Laboratory tests and other health screenings are available upon request. Our professional staff is certified in ergonomic and functional capacity evaluations. Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation:
Cardiac, Pulmonary and Vascular Rehab are offered at our facility. Some of the programs offered in this department are Stress Testing, Echocardiogram Testing, Holter Monitoring, Sleep Studies, 24 Hour Blood Pressure Monitoring, Events Monitoring and Overnight Oximeter Monitoring. A Wellness Program is also offered by this department. A variety of memberships are available to belong to the Fitness Center. Smoking Cessation and Youth Weight Management are also offered. These are Emergency response systems to have added safety in your own home. There is a monthly fee of $25.00 with a one time installation fee of $25.00. Home Health/Hospice/Personal Cares:
St. Francis HHC/Hospice offers Medicare certified home care to qualified clients needing home health or hospice services. Types of services include part-time intermittent skilled nursing, bath aide, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. Ages of clients served range from newborn to the geriatric client. Private Pay Personal Cares is available for skilled nursing and bath aide for clients who do not meet the qualifications for Medicare covered services.

Our Obstetric Department offers a number of services that include Pre-Admit meetings with each new Mother before delivery, Cesarean deliveries, Epidurals with 24 hour Anesthesia Coverage, Childbirth Education which includes Prepared Childbirth, Infant Care and Breastfeeding classes. Our Newborn Hearing Screens are done by our Speech Pathologist. Our Department also has a Breastfeeding Educator who assists each nursing Mother. Our in-house Car Seat Technician assists the parents with their car seats and also holds 2 free car seat check-up events throughout the year. We offer free massages to our new Mothers and also have Medela Breastfeeding Supplies. Return to Top
Occupational Therapy:
Occupational Therapists at FCS work in a variety of settings with people of all ages. OT works with wheelchair positioning, upper extremity range of motion, strength and endurance training, fine motor coordination and to teach patients to use adaptive equipment to increase independence with daily tasks. OT's often work with children in the school system, focusing on upper extremity gross and fine motor coordination and to help children reach developmental milestones. Treatment within the Outpatient Clinic often includes shoulder, elbow and hands. OT's focus is to enable patients to reach their highest functional potential. Our Oncology services are provided once a month by the Oncologist from Immanuel Hospital in Omaha on an outpatient basis. They perform Bone Marrow testing, Chemotherapy and lab work.

Our Radiology Department offers a broad range of scans and services. Our services include CT Scanning, Ultrasound, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Stereo tactic Biopsy, Diagnostic Radiology, CT Bone Mineral Density, and Vascular Ultrasound.

Respiratory Therapy:
Our Respiratory Therapy Department provides services in the hospital setting as well as at home services. They provide inpatient therapy and ventilator care, Pulmonary Function Testing which includes: Simple Spirometry, before and after Bronchodilator, Complete PFT which include Plethysmography and DLCO, and EEG testing. The Respiratory Therapy Department also helps set up Home Equipment like Oxygen, Nebulizers, CPAP, BIPAP and Apnea monitors. More Information ›

Speech Therapy:

With 1 general surgeon in house and 7 consulting specialty surgeons on staff, we are able to provide a wide variety of surgical services including General, Gynecology, Urology, Ear/Nose/Throat, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. Our Family Physicians provide continuous Endoscopy service including Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy, Gastroscopy, Feeding Tube insertion, Foreign Body retrieval, and Esophageal Dilatation. Our 24-Hour coverage Anesthesia Department provides all types of anesthesia including OB epidurals and pain clinics.
