Healthy Living with Diabetes - Group Classes (2 Part)
Franciscan Care Services (St. Francis Memorial Hospital) offers group classes in diabetes management. These classes are held 2 times yearly. The classes are held in cooperation with the Cuming County Extension Service. The classes are part of the Diabetes Education Program at Franciscan Care Services that has received a Certificate of Recognition from the American Diabetes Association. The Diabetes Education Program has met national standards for diabetes self-management education. Because the program has received this Certificate of Recognition, Medicare private insurance may cover part of the cost of attending the classes. Scholarships to cover fees are available through the St. Francis Memorial Hospital Foundation.
