Charity Care
Franciscan Care Services' mission as a non-profit, faith-based organization is to provide medically necessary services to patients regardless of their ability to pay for such services. For those individuals who are uninsured, insured but with inadequate coverage or those with an income only sufficient to pay basic living expenses, we offer a Charity Care program.
Charity Care is a program funded by Franciscan Care Services to assist patients that are financially burdened and unable to pay for their medical expenses. The Charity Care program is secondary to all other financial assistance options available to the patient such as a bank loan, insurance, government programs, patient assets, etc. To be considered for this assistance program, you will be required to complete a confidential Financial Application. Further documentation may be requested to verify your circumstances in order to determine eligibility. In order to treat everyone fairly and to be considered for this program you must complete the paperwork, submit the necessary documentation and cooperate with Franciscan Care Services to get the needed information.
